I'm a Karachi-based software engineer who has spent the last six years turning ideas into products people use every day — from an EdTech platform serving thousands of users to mobile apps that quietly replaced manual paperwork for teachers and parents.

As a founding engineer at SimpliEd, I architect and ship full-stack systems across the Angular / Node.js web app and the Flutter mobile apps, manage the AWS infrastructure and CI/CD, and lead code reviews for a small, fast-moving team. Earlier, at Dawateislami-IT, I helped modernize legacy .NET systems and migrate server-rendered modules to a modern SPA architecture.

I also teach. On weekends I've trained 1,200+ students in Flutter at Jawan Pakistan, and I care as much about clear explanations and clean architecture as I do about shipping. Lately I'm channelling that into AI-assisted products and automation — building tools that make software teams faster.

Led development of the Flutter QR attendance and parent–student mobile apps, replacing manual attendance workflows and becoming the primary daily touchpoint for parents and teachers.
Optimized Angular web-app performance through code splitting, lazy loading, and bundle-size reduction across the app's main user flows.

Mentorship at scale

Teaching keeps me sharp. As a Flutter Development Instructor at Jawan Pakistan, I've designed a full curriculum and taken over a thousand students from their first widget to a published app.

I'm Muhammad Owais Ahmed — codewithowais to most people online. I'm a Senior Software Engineer in Karachi, and I've spent the last six years turning ideas into products people rely on every day. Right now I'm a founding engineer at SimpliEd, an EdTech platform serving 25,000+ users, and I teach Flutter to the next wave of developers — 1,200+ students and counting.

What does Owais Ahmed specialize in?

I'm at my best where things get hard to scale — API and cloud architecture on AWS — and lately I've been building AI and automation into real products, not just demos.
